Charles Krauthammer, a fan favorite and longtime Fox News contributor passed away in June after a long battle with cancer. The mark that he made during his time on Fox and in the conservative movement is far-reaching by any standard, but the challenges he overcame in his personal life allowed for an even further reach.

Maybe this is why it is no surprise that those who had the pleaser of knowing and working with him have chosen a way to commemorate and celebrate his legacy. Fox News announced that they are creating a memorial scholarship program.

Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott stated: “We are proud to honor Charles, his legacy, impact and countless contributions with a new scholarship program enabling the next generation of thought leaders the opportunity and education they need to reach their dreams.” Fox News partnered with the National Merit Scholarship Program to establish the memorial scholarship.
