Most Americans are constitutionalists. Although many might not be able to articulate their constitutional positions, a vast majority of the electorate believe in electing a government that is aligned with the precepts of the constitution. We like the notion of freedom. We detest the notion of an ever-intrusive, ever-expanding government (at any level) tampering with our freedom to speak, meet and align ourselves with a particular religion (or, none at all)…constitutional stuff…like liberty.
After nearly four years of listening to and tolerating the narcissistic Barack Obama and his countless minions and stooges, it’s hard to imagine an America without him and his sneaky, behind the scenes implementation of literally tens of thousands of pages of new regulations that are soon to come into play via Obama Care and the new Environmental Protection Agency. For a minute or two, however, let’s pretend. Let’s imagine American without Barack Obama at the helm.
Let’s imagine that today is Wednesday, November 7, 2012. The election is over and Mitt Romney has been elected President of the United States.
Let’s first of all imagine what Barack Obama’s reaction is going to be when he is defeated. Let’s imagine what his ego might lead him to do. Let’s imagine what the White House staff members (Valery Jarrett and the others), the Czars, the thousands of appointees and bureaucrats are going to be saying and doing.
Let’s imagine the reports we will hear from CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and the other in-the-tank media outlets that have long ago crowned Obama their institutional king. Let’s imagine the litany of executive orders that Obama will likely issue in his last days. Let’s imagine the myriad of Presidential pardons he will extend.
Let’s imagine the shock and disappointment Barack and Michelle Obama are going to experience as they hand over the White House, our house, to Mitt and Ann Romney. Yes, there will be plenty of phony smiles and platitudes but beneath the surface there will be seething anger, suppressed hostility and, as iVoteAmerica believes, a very real potential for a score of marginally legal actions by Barack Obama as he departs the White House.
Then, let’s take a deep breath and imagine what the first 30 days under Mitt Romney as President are going to look like, starting with day one and the firing of all of the Czars. Imagine for a moment how traditional Americans are going to feel while we watch President Romney unravel the mess Barack Obama has created. We will feel free again, won’t we?
We will be proud again. We will once again be on the path to freedom, liberty and prosperity. No, it won’t all happen quickly and there will be resistance from the opposition and the liberal media. The road will be long and difficult, but we have travelled this road before and we welcome the challenges it brings us, knowing we can vanquish them all.
Please vote on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Imagine an American without Obama!
