Senate Votes 75 to 24 to Ignore Americans!
October 2nd, 2008 . by iVote
Early in the week Americans told Congress in no uncertain terms (80% to 20%) that the bail out program should not be passed.
The Senate rejected the will of the people and decided to ram home the “Emergency Economic Stabilization Act” by a score of 75 to 24. Post your comment on this action.
Of the 24 “No” votes, fifteen were Republicans, 8 were Democrats and 1 was Independent. All of the “No” votes are highlighted in the list below. Only one Senator did not vote, that being Senator Ted Kennedy (D, MA) due to his illness.
Yes, the Senate (perhaps your Senator(s)), voted last night to send new legislation to the House that would effectively force American taxpayers to buy zero value, as in $0.00 mortgages, to the tune of $700,000,000,000…MINIMUM.
If the House passes the bill, the Treasury will crank the presses into high gear, print more devalued dollars and further accellerate the decline of our money globally.
Have Americans been taxed by their elected officials in order to prop up failing businesses? Is this the beginning of the socialization of the U.S. economic system or, will things simply return to normal, whatever “normal” is? What’s your thinking?
How did Senators from your State vote on this historic legislation? See below and please post your comments:

So if the banks get more money from the feds… does this mean they can go back to doing more bad loans but now with tax payer money? Even the kids are smarter than this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_LWQQrpSc4&fed
