“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

- Thomas Jefferson – Founding Father

Tonight the GOP Convention turns a corner. The boredom ends tonight when Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani and the most famous V.P. Candidate of all time, Governor Sarah Palin, each take the stage with a message designed to position John McCain’s campaign for the final home stretch.

The iVoteAmerica speech content predictions for each of them are summarized as follows:

ROMNEY: Mitt will deliver a senior statesman-like speech designed to elevate the Republican message above Obama’s centralized government platform. He will most likely lace the speech with strong talk. His message will also position him for another run for President. Tonight Romney will become the new Ronald Reagan of the GOP.

HUCKABEE: Mike’s speech will be evangelical in tone…he will stop short of passing the collection plate. He, of all the speakers tonight, will inspire and motivate the GOP faithful to the “higher” calling of Party standards, character, belief in absolute values and iVoteAmerica expects that Mike may actually carry the evening. He’s professional, practiced and polished. This evening is right up his alley.

GUILIANI: Rudy is going to once again position himself as America’s Mayor with a review of the impact of 911 on the psyche of the U.S. population and he will then direct our attention to the experience of John McCain to lead us in a time of uncertainty. Mayor Giuliani will be prosecutorial with respect to asking the American public to convict Barack of all charges against him. He will send the jury out to deliberate and return a guilty verdict in November.

PALIN: This is the “really big show” and iVoteAmerica predicts a delirious crowd will be hyper-energized over Sarah Palin’s presentation and we can expect a stellar speech that will connect the dots regarding her conservative political positions from point one through point 100. When she completes her speech the Party will get an immediate bump in the polls of at least five percent. We will all know Sarah Palin for the first time.

Democrats and the left leaning liberal mainstream media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and others) and their blog site counter parts such as Huffington Post and DailyKos will suck-in every phrase and launch an even more aggressive witch hunt that will attempt to burn Sarah Palin at the political stake.

Palin’s speech will be the mother (no pun intended) of all V.P. speeches of all time. It will go down in history as one of the greatest V.P. speech ever! She will rally the right side of the spectrum and bring the evangelicals back into the fold. Expect her topics to include each and every hot button from energy to abortion and from family to national security.

Palin will make tonight John McCain’s water shed moment. Sarah Palin will step up to the podium and deliver a do-or-die message on his behalf and in so doing solidify her position in the GOP for years to come.

John McCain came into Minneapolis today to prepare for his acceptance speech on Thursday. His moment is coming; the prisoner of war, maverick republican is finally where he always wanted to be, on center stage asking us all to make him the next commander and chief.

The GOP will recover tonight from a less than enthusiastic convention that has been riddled with negative press, attacks on Palin and her family, and hurricanes. Tonight, expect the GOP train to be put back on the tracks moving forward with huge momentum.

The media kept their distance while she was in the white house. The media never reported on her activities while she was a college student. In fact, while Chelsea actively campaigned for her mother during the Democratic primaries reporters were not allowed to ask her questions. With the exception of one embarrasing question from a student in Indianapolis regarding the Monic Lewinski affair, which Chelsea blew off, she Ms. Clinton has been classified by the press as “exempt” from direct interrogatives.

It became a blogging buzz that no one had ever heard Chelsea speak…we didn’t even know what her voice sounded like! Chelsea was hands off, camera off, mic off. Only during the second half of the Democratic primaries did we actually hear Chelsea answer a question.

That was the standard for Chelsea.

Enter Sarah Palin, the conservative Governor of Alaska as John McCain’s Vice Presidential nominee. Enter Sarah Palin’s family…enter her husband and five children. Enter Bristol Palin, Chelsea’s designated counterpart. Enter pregnancy story. Enter left leaning media with a whole new double standard for the daughters.

iVoteAmerica has been saying the media must constantly be watched and studied for hypocrisy, bias and down right dirty and unethical reporting. When it came to the story of Bristol Palin’s 5-month pregnancy, the media couldn’t get enough. Watch the CBS News video report.

To mask the media’s obvious bias against Sarah Palin they talked about her daughter’s pregnancy by saying “we shouldn’t be talking about the dughter’s pregnancy…children and family members are off-limits.”

Even Barack Obama couldn’t resist talking about Sarah Palin’s family by yes, talking about Sarah Palin’s family and then stating that if anyone in his campaign talked about Sarah Palin’s family they would be “fired.”

Barack’s statement about the Palin family was broadcast by all the outlets as news reporters kept repeating the story about Sarah Palin’s daughter and praising Barack Obama for saying, “let’s not talk about the families.”

The FoxNews’ Fox and Friends program, often accused of being jaded to the right of center, spent an inordinate amount of time talking about Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter by having guests appear who kept saying, “we shouldn’t be talking about the daughter…after all, its a private family matter…we all have private issues.”

Is there any chance that we are seeing a double standard with the daughters primarily because Sarah Palin is a conservative Christian and conservative Christians talk about standards, family life and moral character more than perhaps they should? Could it be that Sarah Palin’s political and personal positions are irresistable targets for the media?

Well, that’s it for this one…the point is obvious at least here at iVoteAmerica but do you think there is a double standard with the daughters?

Early reports indicate that he will tap Sarah Palin, first term Governor of Alaska as his Vice Presidential candidate and running mate.

Mitt Romney…out. Mike Huckabee…out. Tim Pawlenty…out. Tom Ridge…out. Joe Lieberman…out. Meg Whitman…out.

Sarah Palin the popular conservative Governor of Alaska will, if selected, be one of the biggest surprises of the campaign to date. Palin pledged to clean up the polluted world of politics in Alaska if elected Governor. She is pro-life and the mother of five children.

Sarah and husband Todd have five children: Track, 19, Trig, 4 months and daughters Bristol, 17, Willow, 13, and Piper, 7. Track Palin joined the Army and reportedly will be sent to Iraq on or about September 11.

But does she have the timber to be Vice President or much more, President of the United States?

She is pro business and signed a bill on August 27, 2008 (two days ago!) authorizing the state of Alaska to approve TransCanada Corporation’s license request to build a $27 billion pipeline to carry natural gas 1,715- miles from the Arctic to U.S. markets.

iVoteAmerica believes that if Palin is the VP Nominee, her energy positions will be hailed by Republicans and scrutinized by Democrats. We also believe that this move, if proven true this morning will be a coup for the McCain campaign and a brilliant selection because it accomplishes many things by nominating a conservative, a woman, a Governor, a pro-life person and a pro-energy innovator.

More coming from Dayton, Ohio as John McCain prepares to name his VP Candidate today, Friday, August 29, 2008 at 12 noon ET.
