Donald Trump was one of the people who predicted the collapse of the financial markets and he continues to tie everything to oil. Today, on Fox News‘ Your World with Neil Cavuto, <a href="http://trump.com" http://www.trump.com/>Trump said, “Why is the government buying the bad loans…why don’t they buy some good loans…?”

Trump indicated to Neil Cavuto that the failure of the House of Representatives to pass the bail out package was actually good news and would drive oil prices down to the lowest prices in recent history. “Oil is going to drop faster than ever before…” said Trump. It looks like he is right, as crude was down by more than $10 per barrel.

<a href="http://trump.com" http://www.trump.com/>Trump pointed out the relationship between oil prices and the stock market. When bad things are happening the oil cartel drops prices when good things are happening the pricing increases.

Trump’s position is a lot like those Representatives who voted against the bail out package. A majority of the American people are indicating in no uncertain terms that they are opposed to a government bailout for what has been called “toxic mortgages.”

Just this morning Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi strutted out with her Democratic colleagues in tow to announce “The party is over…” Evidently not, as the bail out was busted due to the American people saying, “we don’t want the government to bail out the free market.”

In all of this Senators Barack Obama and John McCain have been oddly quiet, neither jumping on jets to race back to Washington, D.C. to help with the solution.

iVoteAmerica thinks the entire situation is now completely politicized and there is no turning back for many Senators and Representatives.

In the next 48-72 hours we expect the private sector to continue to step up to the plate with capital infusions, buy outs and mergers. In the end we may all have a sense that the “buy out” was totally unnecessary and as an attempt to socialize our credit markets.
