They Don’t Care

It has finally dawned on me why President Obama and the Democrats in control of the Congress rushed to pass an unread “stimulus” bill “redistributing” billions of taxpayer dollars, have been voting bills out of committee to “reform” our national healthcare system, and another to impose a huge tax on all energy use.

They don’t care.

They don’t care that the polls clearly demonstrate that the majority of Americans oppose these and other initiatives.

They don’t care that the time-tested and time-proven way out of a recession is to cut taxes.

They don’t care that a similar healthcare program in Massachusetts did not reduce costs, that funding was slashed, and that rationing began.

They don’t care that there is absolutely no need for a bill to regulate carbon dioxide in order to “stop global warming” and that it is a huge tax increase on all Americans at a time when the Earth has been cooling for the last ten years.

They don’t care.

These are people like David Axelrod, the President’s advisor, who dismissed the hundreds of thousands of people who came to Washington, D.C. on September 12th to protest, saying, “They’re wrong.”

It is obvious that President Obama doesn’t care.

There is a complete disconnect between what he says and what he does. One could prepare a very long list of promises and statements made during his campaign and since his inauguration that reveal an astounding and frightening level of daily mendacity.

As for Congress, the rush to pass legislation such as healthcare reform that had been examined during the Clinton years—and rejected—is the single greatest indicator of how bad the outcome of this “new” effort will be. This is a bill being put together out of sight of the public because, if they knew its provisions, they would lay siege to Congress to stop it. Indeed, they already have. It won’t even be posted on the Internet for public review.

They don’t care.

It’s the same attitude that was demonstrated by the Nobel Prize committee that awarded Obama its Peace Prize barely two weeks after he was inaugurated, announcing it to a stunned world months later when it was apparent to everyone that he had done nothing to earn what was formerly one of the highest international accolades.

They don’t care.

The systematic efforts to extend control over all the land and all the waters of the United States through government agencies such as the EPA, the Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Corp of Engineers runs counter to the Constitutional Amendment protecting the sacredness of private property.

They don’t care.

It is increasingly evident that President Obama may, in fact, not be a natural born citizen of the United States as required by the Constitution to hold the office. Far too many essential documents have been withheld from public review to not legitimately question this fundamental issue of legal authority. A Democrat Congress will not take this up, but the courts must.

I am reminded that the Declaration of Independence was a long list of grievances set forth by Thomas Jefferson who wrote “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them (the People) under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government and to provide such new guards for their future security.”

Barring a complete change of power in Congress in next year’s midterm elections, it
is beginning to look like a new Declaration will have to be written as this administration and this Congress continue to run roughshod over the will of the People to bring about their enslavement and the destruction of the nation.

They don’t care!

What Really Happened in Montana

The following was sent to iVoteAmerica

Hello All,

By now you have probably heard that President Obama came to  Montana last Friday. However, there are many things that the major news has not covered. I feel that since Bill and I live here and we were at the airport on Friday I should share some facts with you. Whatever you decide to do with the information is up to you. If you chose to share this email with others I do ask that you DELETE my email address before you forward this on.

On Wednesday, August 5th it was announced locally that the President would be coming here. There are many groups here that are against his healthcare and huge spending so those groups began talking and deciding on what they were going to do. The White House would not release ANY details other than the date.

On about Tuesday Bill found out that they would be holding the “Town Hall” at the airport. (This is only because Bill knows EVERYONE at the airport) Our airport is actually located outside of  Belgrade (tiny town) in a very remote location. Nothing is around there. They chose to use a hangar that is the most remotely located hangar. You could not pick a more remote location, and you can not get to it easily. It is totally secluded from the public.

Washington wants Access to your Health Records

June 15th, 2009 . by iVote

ama-capitolBarack Obama appeared before the American Medical Association today and once again gave a speech designed to sell his national health care program.

Listening to the speech required some level of “reading-between-the-lines” in order to de-code the underlying cryptic messages being set forth. One such example is the centralization of all medical records via a government controlled database.

President Obama wants all records codified, centralized and much, if not all of the paperwork files, removed from medical offices and placed in a national database. Amazingly many AMA members applauded; but who doesn’t want less paperwork?

Imagine the federal government and its legion of bureaucrats, politicians, lawyers and lobbyists with access to your private records? This is more frightening than the manila file folders we all see behind the glass window when we visit our Doctor’s office.

Personally, I like the idea of my chosen physicians having my records…and no one else. I’m seeing some benefit in paper and never thought I would.

Like all great ideas stemming from the elite Washington culture, the notion of centralizing medical records as a means of cost effectiveness and efficiency sounds good, until the details are created and examined.

Washington wants access to and control of the banks, executive salaries, the type of automobiles we will be allowed to drive, insurance and now health care and your records. All of this is a result of our inability to take care of our businesses and ourselves and the new Obamanation where bureaucrats make the critical decisions for inept Americans.

Hmmm. Imagine first, Washington with access to your health records. Then, imagine how that information might be used to create health care profiles and service actuaries for all Americans at various phases of our lives.

Now take another step and imagine the data being used to shape shape health care policy for the elderly as that demongraphic continues to climb. Imagine the relationship between projected health care costs to taxpayers and social security, medicare and other insurance issues.

Imagine for a moment, Washinton bureaucrats dictating the pay of brain surgeon’s, cardiologists and family physicians as a precursor to qualifying for payment and insurance. Hmmm.

One answer…no, thanks!
