iVoteAmerica is a PLOG

iVoteAmerica invites select individuals to become Official Authors in our “plog” (poll+blog) site. You are invited to contact us about your interest in “plogging.”

In short, iVoteAmerica polls and it blogs about political issues impacting Americans. That’s our mission. Sign up to Author.

We are Looking for Authors

iVoteAmerica is not looking for professional “ploggers.” We are mostly looking for citizens who have an interest in posting political blog content on our main site, iVoteAmerica.com or, on our 50-State PLOGS, such as iVoteCalifornia.com, iVoteFlorida.com, iVoteOregon.com, etc.

We attempt to allow just about any qualified person or entity (at our descretion) to blog on the left or right. We typically reserve the center or middle blog in the national site, iVoteAmerica.com, for our staff, although on occasion, guest writers will be allowed to post editorial content (blogs). Sign up.

Typically, we want to allow you the access and right to author if you have a demonstrated skill in presenting ideas, inserting images and creating links. If you are a decent writer with a desire to blog politically but have never blogged at all, you can attend a blog bootcamp for a small fee. During the bootcamp we teach you the technical side of blogging. It’s not real complicated, so don’t sweat over it. Our training fee for approved authors is just $199 for a one-hour personalized session.

Anyone can suggest polling topics for our consideration. Some of our National Polls may be included in the iVoteState plogs as well.

If you think you are on the left, you probably are, however, this designation is not designed to pigeon-hole anyone or lock an author into presenting only one political side of any arguement. If you are a hardcore democrat, act like one, and request the right to blog on the left.

Being a left blogger does not restrict you from making comments to the right, left or middle. It just means that when you post a blog, you categorize it as a “Left Blog.” Sign up to Author on the Left.

For those authors who prefer to post content (blogs) that lean to the right, well, you guessed it, you’ll be blogging on the right. The right bloggers are those who tend toward a more traditional outlook on politics. Again, we aren’t trying to box you in, just guide you toward your natural predisposition.

Being a right blogger does not restrict you from making comments to the right, left or middle. It just means that when you post a blog, you categorize it as a “Right Blog.” Sign up to Author on the Right.

Ambidextrous Political Blogging

Can someone blog on the left and the right…YEA, they can. Why? Because iVoteAmerica recognizes that not all people are left or right or in the middle of every issue we face in political life. We think there are some gray areas.

Most of the people you know have some left in them and some right in them and some middle-of-the-road in them. We call this being “politically ambidextrous.”

License your iVoteState Network

If you are a hard core political blogger or, you think you want to lead and develop one of our State Plogs, you can actually license an entire iVoteState Plogsite. You’ll pay a licensing fee and a monthly operating fee. You’ll have access and opportunity to generate your own revenue. You’ll share some of the iVoteState Plog space with us as a requirement.
