America’s President Bows to a King

April 9th, 2009 . by iVote

obama-bows-200The White House first said, “it’s not a bow.” Then they realized no one was buying or shoveling the BS so the spin changed to calling it “protocol” based upon Obama’s height verses the King Abdullah’s height.

iVoteAmerica thinks words and mannerisms mean things. But then again, as is always the case with this White House, plain words and clear images mean something different than most Americans hear and see. Sort of the Clintonian notion of what “is” is.

Thematic Development

The President’s European swing contained many new forms of verbal bowing. It didn’t take most of us long to hear the development of a new foreign policy theme from the mouth of President Barack Obama.

In an attempt to appease an ever-cowardly and angry European union, the President used a carefully balanced verbal approach that included a demeaning of America as a self-serving and arrogant country and an appeal to Europeans to support us because he is about well, you guessed it, “change.”

Analysts on both ends of the political spectrum are admitting that there was little tangible “change” coming from key European allies resulting from the President’s verbal pandering.

A Barackian theme beginning to emerge. Americans are beginning to see what they perhaps could not see during the campaign for the Presidency. Words mean something and in some cases they have dual and even triple meanings.

When candidate Barack Obama spoke of “change we can believe in” most Americans had no idea our President would be strapping the red, white and blue to an international whipping post.

The New Barackian Theme: America is to blame. We all know that our country has historical imperfections, some large, some simply annoying. But no country on earth has ever done more for the welfare and freedom of people around world than America.

Body Language Culmination

The “Barackian Bow” (as we will now refer to it) although shocking to many, should not come as any surprise to Americans. Because the body language must always square with the verbal statements and the verbal statements are ultimately a product of the mental world of any individual.

Presidential genuflection was not afforded the Queen of England during Barack and Michelle’s recent visit to the UK. Rightly so. America made a decision in the Revolutionary War to jettison the concept that freedom and human rights are extended to common man by a monarch in favor of being “endowed by the Creator” with rights.

If rights come from the State, then rights can be changed. If rights are bestowed by God and therefore “inalienable” they are therefore absolute and non-negotiable.

The dictionary defines “inalienable” as incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred. In short, America settle the notion of bowing to a monarch by implementing a constitution that seems to indicate that if bowing is to be done, it is to directed to the true Source of our “inalieable” rights.

It appears at the moment that President Barack Obama truly believes that America needs to bow. The bow is the body motion giving way to the true belief. The President’s bow is the inescapable culmination of his true position, America should pander and placate.

iVoteAmerica expects the Barackian Bow to be a topic that the White House will want to quickly move away from. It’s an image too difficult to explain away. Therefore, the topic will be quickly changed.

Hide and watch!
