We are rolling over to the idea of the “nanny state.” I am finding it hard to believe that we are not in the streets, pitchforks in hand.

CNN just interviewed a young lady this morning (Feb 20, 2009) who said she and her husband are considering moving to China where they can “have a better life.” We bid her farewell as they join an oppressive social, communist state with an economy that will need to produce 25,000,000 each year just to stay even with the board.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that many of us are in a state of dependency and ripe for facism and socialism, under the spell of Obama verbosity.

Have we completely lost our moorings as Americans? Have we lost our national spine? Have we sold out the future of our children and grandchildren for a government promise of prosperity? Yes, we are doing that…but it is not too late!
