Apologies: This should have been in my first comment, but I forgot it. Prior to the election, debates where seen last fall on sunday mornings. George Stephanopoulous (hope that's right) said to the candidates ..."This is a yes or no question" .....Would you say that blah blah blah would be your first priority ? The typical answer was a song and dance, something like: "Well first I'd like to say that I'm really glad to be here and so is my dog woofer. Something I wanted to mention was, blah blah blah".

The ONLY candidate that responded properly to George was Ron Paul ! He said...
"I would have to say that's a no" (or yes). He didn't go round in circles like a damn moth. Does that tell you something? I was impressed.

More on a frugal military: ...... I live about 25 miles from an army base. I was at a surplus store yesterday. A soldier came in who needed a few bucks. He asked the lady behind the counter if she wanted to buy the fancy frame and backpack he had. She gave him $6.00 for what the taxpayers probably spent $400 on.

I also go to the metal yards to buy scrap steel for projects. I once saw a big flatbed military truck come in.
It had what looked like very expensive stainless steel vacuum chambers on it. They just pushed the stuff off and drove away.
That equipment probably cost taxpayers half a million dollars when it was new. This bull has to stop.

I believe Ron Paul would have made a good president until some special interest group (or some branch of our government) had him
gunned down. A lot of what our government is about, is greed.

We now have a man of color for president, which seems only fair since African Americans built the white house, however .... I think he's a tad unrealistic about some things and has a tremendous mess to clean up.

Regardless of who is in the White House, my personal feeling is that we can have good healthcare by taking money away from the military budget. We'd still have a strong military (just like it is now), It would just force them to be more frugal instead of pissing our money away. I wouldn't want it to affect care for veterans though.

Since the government is something like a 3 level chessboard I wish there was a book called Understanding the Government for Dummies, with a subtitle ..... The Real Truth.
Bet that would get pulled from the shelves in a week and of course burned. Some group in the 30s did that, right ? You know who I mean. They wanted a one world government. If you didn't agree you got pushed onto a train that went deep into the forest. What's that smell ?

The GREATEST PROBLEM we will ultimately face will not be political, but environmental.

he will make no ground in the NEO - CON, make war, turn your cheek, Christian nut jobs! Paul tells the truth and the truth has been there for 100 years. They will continue to silence Paul and the rt of them that do not speak the One World Order Dogma. You se the NEO right things they can get us all together and shove their beliefs down our throats just like the neo-left does...never mind the constitution as they dont care...these are zealots and stop at nothing.
